Turnip Greens

Turnip tops are typical vegetables of central-southern Italy, which Orogel grows in the best soils of Basilicata and Puglia where, thanks to the mild climate, the best varieties are produced. Only the most valuable part of the turnip top is hand-picked, and it is perfect to prepare tasty recipes and bring them to the table all year round.

Directions

Cooking pan 9-10 minutes

Pour the frozen product into a non-sticking pan with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and two of water. Cover and cook for 9-10 minutes, stirring now and then.

Gluttonous suggestions

Make the Turnip-top Sprouts even tastier by adding a pinch of chilli during cooking. For a rich main course, cook in a pan some sausages, add the Turni-top Sprouts, cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring now and then.
